Free food pantries and groceries Ector County.

Most of the food pantries in the Ector County area are in the city of Odessa, however they support families from all towns and parts of the county. The services available will change based on donation levels and even the season, but the soup kitchens and food banks near you may provide items such as the following. Get free boxes of food or groceries, non-financial support such as referrals to vouchers or grant programs, personal hygiene supplies, clothes and more, all in addition to a free box of groceries. Volunteers work at many of the locations. They want to provide help to all clients, however this is not always possible. In those instances a referral may be given out to them. The Odessa Texas food banks will do their best to prevent hunger in the community though.

Of particular focus is on children and students from low income households as well as newborn babies. There is a cafe for them, formula for new moms or the summer food service program. They can also apply for a Christmas gift or meal. For those that need additional support, learn more on infant formula assistance. Clients can also apply for benefits such as SNAP or find baby formula. Immigrants and non-English speakers in Ector County are welcome too. A number of social services are offered. A free soup kitchen with hot meals as well as an emergency food pantry are on site. there is also ensure for seniors, baby formula, clothes, Christmas food, financial aid, and more.
