Free community health clinics in Salt Lake.

Low-income families and the uninsured in Salt Lake County will get free medical or dental services from health care centers near them. A wide variety of services are offered by the clinics, including eye exams, women’s health care, urgent medical, dental, teeth extractions and more. Many of the locations are non-profits, federal government qualified. They help patients on Medicaid or Medicare, people with no insurance, adults, kids and other. Doctors, psychologists and dentist offer physicals, immunizations, pediatric services as well as dental care such as oral surgery, X-Rays, root canals and more. Or get free eye glasses for kids, vouchers to pay for meds, telemedicine, or a ride to the doctor or hospital and other free medical care. Some of the Salt Lake County clinics are income based while others are 100% free. Depending on the patient’s income, they may need to pay some money towards their bills, but usually the fees due from the patient will be minimal. Provided income qualifications are met. The dental or health care provided is comprehensive and high quality.

Community Health Center
Various medical outreach services and programs are offered from the non-profit centers. Free or low cost medical and dental services for the uninsured or low-income include, but not limited to well child exams, immunizations, and health care for acute illness. There are dental check-ups, pharmacies for RX, dialysis treatment., depression screening and more.

Fourth Street Clinic

They give free medical to immigrants and refugees as well as students. There are dental students that give free teeth cleanings and exams. Senior citizens will also get the care they need.

 

 

 

 

Intermountain Health Care
The non-profit has multiple centers. Free or low-cost programs include Diabetes Wellness,  Disease screening and control, OBGYN, cancer screening, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and more.
