Wyoming residents can get help paying their utility, heating and energy bills from charities, free government grants, or even assistance programs offered directly by utility companies in Wyoming. Households can also save money on their utility bills from free weatherization programs. Find details below on everything from grants for low income households to payment plans and more. Many of the utility and gas companies across the state administer some type of utility bill assistance program for their customers.

A number of services and resources are available to low to moderate income families in Wyoming. Rocky Mountain Power has several other resources available in Wyoming. Some of the options include Energy Share or the federal government funded Low Income Energy Assistance Program. Senior Tax Rebate - Seniors who are 65 years of age or older may qualify for a rebate from this program. The program provides a tax rebate check for up to $600, and the exact amount of financial assistance provided will depend on the applicants income and other program guidelines and criteria. An applicant must be income qualified and have some type of medical concern or disability. Yampa Valley Electric - This company also serves customers in Wyoming. Most of the assistance available is offered by non-profits and government agencies that partner with Yampa.
