Many of the non-profit health and dental clinics are funded by the federal government grants and are considered “Federally Qualified Centers” or rural clinics. This means no one is turned away, and people with no insurance, families on Medicaid or elderly on Medicare (among others) can get free dental care.

They often times have volunteer dentists and other medical professionals who can provide help to the less fortunate. Many focus on preventative actions, cleanings, and other forms of aid for individuals who are in need of help. Some offer emergency oral surgery, including wisdom teeth work, extractions and more.
