The Salvation Army in Washington County Oregon is committed to helping Hillsboro and nearby families. A number of emergency assistance programs will help pay rent or utility bill as well as provide transportation for work. Or get social services, free food or hot meals as well as substance abuse counseling or a free gas card.   There are also free school supplies and Christmas toys, and get help from the Salvation Army in the Washington County Oregon area.

Social services are provided by the Salvation Army, both in English and Spanish. The hours of operation for these social services will normally be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00am-11:30am or 1:00pm-4:00pm.
