Rental and housing assistance in Caddo and Bossier Parish.

Find information on several agencies in the Shreveport area that provide help with rent to income qualified tenants. Charities, churches and government agencies may also have funds for paying security deposits, coordinate legal counseling, and provide other housing services in the Caddo as well as Bossier Parrish region, including section 8 rental housing choice vouchers.

Any long term or emergency rental assistance is limited. It is generally for a crisis only, and the family needs to have a plan in place to obtain stability. Funds may also be issued in one of various different forms. There may be loans paid out, an agency may issue a offer grant, offer security deposit guarantees, or vouchers may be used. Residents seeking rent help include single moms, the unemployed, senior citizens, and disabled among others.

In addition to provide funds in Shreveport or parishes including Caddo, the agencies offer other housing support. Those solutions may be free legal aid or motel or hotel vouchers. Or a non-profit may provide homeless prevention and rapid rehousing services to a family that needs a place to live. When struggling to pay rent or any housing related bills, call an agency below.
