Seminole County food banks can provide assistance to struggling families as well as those that are in a crisis situation. There are non-profits that not only may be able to pass out a free box of groceries or perishable food near you, but they may also have other forms of non-monetary aid. There are also free soup kitchens for meals in Seminole County. This may range from personal hygiene items to free Christmas or Thanksgiving meals or gifts. Or find a toll free referral number at the bottom of the page for more locations.

Donations are used to keep the food pantries near you running. There are also dozens of volunteers that work at many of the pantries. They will sort the contents, process applications, and pass out boxes to income qualified families.

The distribution centers, whether free food pantries or soup kitchens, in Seminole County will also give priority to senior citizens as well as children.
