Locate organizations in San Francisco County that provide free Christmas help to low-income families, kids, seniors and others. Some of the agencies are very targeted in who they assist with toys or meals, such as domestic violence survivors or the homeless. Others are more wide ranging and children from low income households could get a free Christmas gift or toy, and families may be provided a hot meal. Or get Legos, videogames, sporting goods, barbie dolls, hot wheels care and other free toys.

Due to the result of volunteers and donations from the community, there are normally tens of thousands of children that are given a toy or piece of clothing or free Christmas gift. Donations allow the charity to provide help at Christmas. There may be toys, clothes, and free gift cards. Also, during Thanksgiving, turkey meals may be provided. There may be holiday bags of food as well as small toys contained in them for children.

San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program
In some years, tens of thousands of gifts and toys are given to thousands of children from across the city. There is Christmas help for residents of the inner-city, single moms, homeless children, and others. Presents may have games, clothing, hygiene items, and much more. Salvation Army
There are several centers in the city and across San Francisco County. They administer assistance programs and social services year round, but they also provide season help at Thanksgiving and Christmas. This ranges from meals to Angel Tree/Adopt a Family toy programs. There are gifts for children, home delivered meals to the elderly, and other support. There is also a Toy & Joy Shop. Toys for Tots from The San Francisco regional United States Marine Corps
New toys may be disbursed to qualified registrants. Free gifts such as compacters, board or video games, Lego, Match box cars, toy trucks or dolls (for boys or girls) and other items may be offered from Toys for Tots. Bay Area Community Resource has 2 sites in the county, both of which participate in the Toys for Tots program. There will be games, books, free toys, educational supplies and more for kids (both boys and girls) from qualified low income families.
