Transitional housing and homeless shelters San Bernardino County.

Whether you are facing eviction or are currently homeless, there are several housing assistance programs located in San Bernardino California. Services include local homeless shelters, transitional housing, free motel vouchers and help in locating and paying for a permanent home. Case managers will also usually assist individuals in that order.

The centers also focus on homeless prevention and rehousing. This means that a non-profit may be able to direct a family facing eviction to emergency rental assistance programs in southern California. For those that are being evicted or are currently homeless, then work with a specialist in addressing the cause and find a new apartment or home in the San Bernardino County region. This is what is known as rapid rehousing.

Some centers focus on women with children, veterans, or seniors. Many program participants will also receive advice and help in singing up for government aid. This can include section 8 vouchers, free food programs, job counseling, and more.
