Free Christmas and holiday assistance programs San Bernardino County.

Low-income families that are struggling in San Bernardino County will get help during the Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays from churches or charities. There may be free Christmas toys, gifts, turkey dinners, clothes or holiday food baskets passed out. Other items can include gifts for children or home delivered meals to seniors in the region. In addition to programs like Toys for Tots or Angel Tree toys, some of the centers may also offer free turkeys, with all the toppings, or meals during the Thanksgiving holiday as well. The goal is to to help low-income families, immigrants, and others experience joy during the holidays.

The enrollment period for these free San Bernardino County programs, such as Toys for Tots, Adopt a Family or Angel Tree, will usually begin in the fall, and assistance is offered on a first come and served basis. Anyone from San Bernardino County that meets qualifications and that needs help during the holidays needs to be sure to sign up. There will often be proof of income and other criteria in place.

Children from the county take priority when it comes to the Christmas holiday. They may receive clothing, toys, games, books, or maybe even school supplies. San Bernardino Salvation Army

Numerous assistance programs are administered. There is a free clothing closet and food bank. Other holiday programs include Angel Tree and Adopt a Family. Social Services Centers
They are a leading social service agency for the region that offers applications to Christmas gift and toy programs. There is also Adopt A Family. It offers working poor families with children a small gifts and a visit with Santa. There may also be referrals to Christmas parties and meal programs in San Bernardino County. San Bernardino County Toys for Tots
The Marine Corps as well as charities participate. They provide free Christmas toys to children under the age of 13. There is assistance for non-English speakers, single parents, and the underemployed as well. For those that apply on time, they can be given toys (games, gifts, clothing, shoes, legos, video games, hot wheel cars, etc.) as well as other items. Applications are at many sites.

They have free holiday programs. Adopt A Family will help working poor, unemployed, and struggling families in San Bernardino County get holiday food, Xmas presents, clothes and more. There may be educational games, arts and crafts and even emergency financial help.

Don Day Community Center

The non-profit helps during the holidays. Whether it is a free meal or food basket, gifts or stocking stuffers for children, or toys or clothes, programs are administered. Senior citizens and the homeless can also drop in to the center for Thanksgiving or Christmas meals.
