There are a few organizations in the Scott County Minnesota that may be able to provide one time financial assistance or refer clients to other agencies. The places to try, ranging from Charites to churches or government offices, are listed below, but note any grants, loans, or funds for paying rent, utilities or security deposits are limited.

The leading agency in Scott County is the government. However there are also some housing programs for Native Americans in the region too. Funding is limited. But the agency may be able to offer cash grants of maybe hundreds of dollars. The money can pay for rent, mortgages, utilities, or a security deposit. The grants, from the government, are for paying housing costs. Job training, credit counseling, debt reduction, and other services are arranged in addition to the emergency rental assistance.
