Patient Services Inc.

Patients who need help paying expensive health care premiums and co-payments may be able to get financial assistance from Patient Services, Inc. (PSI). It is a non-profit organization that was created in the late 1980s to provide a so called safety net to people who are chronically ill. The assistance from the non-profit is focused on a limited number of around 20 diseases, and the list always changes.

In addition to only covering certain conditions, PSI also offers financial aid for patients with a FDA approved medication. The applicant needs to be lower income as well as lack proper health insurance. The client needs to be struggling to pay the resulting health care expenses, hospital bills, and medical debts from the condition they face.

Since the non-profit was formed they have helped tens of thousands of patients as well as their families.
