Community Services Inc. - This non-profit organization is the local community action agency. Their primary goal is to provide counseling, referrals and help to low to moderate income citizens, including the disabled, elderly, and low income. The organization can help them gain the skills, information on assistance programs and charities, knowledge and motivation to become self-sufficient. Energy and Housing Programs - They offer programs that focus on helping qualified individuals with everything and that range from utility costs and heating bills, fuel (propane or wood), air conditioner and and furnace repairs to rent payments and transitional housing so families can live in housing that is safe, healthy and affordable. Weatherization programs are also offered for free that help help people save money on their monthly energy bills.
