Provided that qualifications are met by applicants, patients may qualify for free medical or dental care, medications, immunizations and more. The exact type and amount of aid provided will vary by program, the applicants income level and other factors.

Some of the resources available to the uninsured in New York are paid for by the state or federal government. Others are offered in partnership with non-profit organizations or other providers.
