These counselors work for you — not the bank — and can review your loan, help you apply for a repayment plan or loan modification, and communicate with your servicer directly on your behalf. Nevada's network of HUD-certified agencies is concentrated in the Las Vegas metro (Clark County) and Reno (Washoe County), but several offer phone and remote counseling for homeowners anywhere in the state.
