Regional Toys for Tots programs - This service is run by charities and the USMC. Children under the age of 14 can get new, wrapped Christmas gifts for free. There may be video or educational games, clothes, sporting goods, dolls, books, bicycles and other items. The charity programs collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year. These toys are then given as free Christmas gifts to needy children in the Long Island community.
