They help veterans and their families in Mohave County, Housing, car repairs, rent or security deposit help and other financial aid is available. They may also help with moving or storage costs. Arizona DES Cash Assistance is the welfare (TANF) program, which can help with short term rent. Families (or single adults) can apply for Department of Economic Security for cash aid for rent, job training or other expenses. Mohave County Housing Authority runs section 8 as well as the disabled Supportive Housing Program. There are vouchers or rent subsidized homes as well as apartments.
