Gatekeeper Project – This is a friendly visitor program administered by Catholic Charities. It brings utilities’ assistance, free food and taxi and bus vouchers to the frail elderly. Elizabeth Ann Seton Residence – This is a forty-five day emergency shelter services for people with disabilities, homeless families, and senior citizens and older adults. Basic needs assistance may be offered by some centers in Long Beach California. Families faced with a crisis can apply for food, shelter, utility bill assistance, clothing and transportation.
