Johnson, Ellis, Hill County Salvation Army assistance programs.

Thousands of local families call upon the Salvation Army for assistance. Many people from Johnson and Ellis County in Texas are struggling for the first time due to the challenging economy. They request short term support for food needs, housing, referrals, and emergency financial assistance for paying rent or utilities. While the funding levels are limited, the non-profit does it best to meet the needy of the less fortunate.

Family services from the Salvation Army are extensive. The need from the client may be physical, such as requesting a medication or food. Or the agency can address other needs as well, such as emotional, spiritual, disaster relief, and help around the holidays.

After an assessment of their need is complete, the family qualifications will be reviewed.
