The working poor and low income can get assistance from the dedicated staff or assistance programs at the Salvation Army in Ogdensburg, Massena and Watertown. Rent, utility or financial assistance programs as well as social services may be able to assist the less fortunate and people facing a crisis. Thrift stores in Watertown New York will sell donated material to the public. Families can find gently used furniture, appliances, or clothing. All of this and more is available to the needy. Whatever is sold at these stores is used to fund many of the Salvation Army emergency assistance programs. The often also go by the name of Family Store.

 

 

 

 

Christmas and holiday programs are available. Providing the low income and poor in Watertown New York, in particular children, with toys, winter coats, and food is always a focus.
