Anyone from Jasper County Missouri in need of help paying for food can turn to a local pantry. There are resources provided by non-profit agencies, including churches, charities, and government social service centers. Clients may find everything from free groceries to holiday food boxes, hygiene supplies, diapers, and more.

Not only may a Jasper County food bank offer a box of groceries, but they often coordinate other social services in the region too. Pantries are known to offer additional support such as the free use of computers to search for a job. Or families living in poverty can apply for SNAP food stamps, WIC vouchers, and other benefit programs.

There are also services focused just on children and the elderly. These programs include a Weekend Bank Pack program with snacks for students or Meals on Wheels for seniors. This is in addition to the pantries below.

Case managers can help with applications to food stamps, offer Thanksgiving or Christmas meals, and offer goods from the pantry. The hours are Tuesday and Thursday. This emergency food pantry will distribute supplemental food items and help feed families in a crisis.

YMCA
There are several in Jasper County. They help kids of all ages, and serve a free nutritious breakfast, lunch or small healthy snacks.

Boys and Girls Clubs offer after school snacks. Low income parents and those in jobs can use the services of this non-profit.
