There are charities and churches in the greater Indianapolis area that provide free assistance during the holidays to low income families, seniors, and children. The non-profits have items ranging from free Christmas toys or gifts to meals and baskets of holiday food. Toys for Tots of Indianapolis MSA
This provide free Christmas gifts (clothing, toys, books, games, sneakers, and more) to children from low income households under the age of 13. Applications are processed both online and at local charities in Marion County as well as other areas of the service territory, as noted above. There are free gender specific toys for boys, girls, and children from age 0 to 16 or so.
