Free holiday and Christmas assistance programs Duval County.

Free Christmas toys, food baskets, meals, and presents are passed out across Duval County Florida during the holiday season as well as Thanksgiving meals. There are usually thousands of children from low income or working poor households that are able to get help each year from Toys for Tots, the Salvation Army Angel Tree programs, as well as charitable Adopt a Family services. Whether a free Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas food basket, or free Christmas presents or gift cards, free holiday help is offered in the Jacksonville Florida area.

Each charity has restrictions in place. Some only focus on year-round clients of the non-profit. Other support seniors by maybe bringing them a free Christmas or Thanksgiving meal. All of the charities and churches do rely on donations from the community though, so if a family is seeking a toy or some sort of gift for their child, there are no promises to receiving assistance in Duval County Florida. It is always recommended to apply early to one of these Jacksonville area non-profits in order to have the opportunity to receive help at the holidays.
