Free Christmas and holiday programs in Dauphin County and Harrisburg.

Low income families in Dauphin County can apply for free assistance programs at Christmas as well as Thanksgiving. There are several charity organizations as well as churches that provide free Christmas toys in the Harrisburg area, clothing, holiday meals (including at Thanksgiving), and other help at the holidays.

Of particular focus is on assisting households that have young children or senior citizens in the home or apartment.
