Rental assistance in Cochise County and Bisbee.

Locate how to get assistance with rent in Cochise County Arizona. Several emergency and crisis programs are offered for people in a crisis situation, or who are faced with eviction. Programs are run by churches, charities, non-profit organizations, and other agencies.

Below is a listing of organizations that can be called to ask for rent help. Many of the locations have limited funding, and will only help individuals and families that have an eviction notice. In addition to offering funds and grants for paying rent or security deposits, many of the agencies also offer case management and advice that individuals can use to become self-sufficient over the long term. The Cochise County community action agency that provides many comprehensive services and resources, including shelter, clothing, food, emergency rental assistance, and case management services. Programs are offered for women, men, and families. On site there are 12 emergency beds for men, lodging obtained for others. In addition, the community action agency offers other housing solutions, including motel or hotel vouchers, move-in assistance, utility deposits, and first month’s rent. Also get help in applying for federal government section 8 housing vouchers.
