Receive affordable medical care or maybe even free health care from clinics in Summit County and Akron. Several non-profit and charitable clinics help people without health insurance, the poor or low income and others. Free community clinics and health care centers may offer variable rate billing, sliding fee scales, or even free medical care and medications on a walk-in basis. There are clinics that focus on women’s health and free assistance to income qualified families and individuals in the Summit County Ohio area.

Each of the clinics and health care centers listed below run their own low income programs, which can sometimes be offered for free to patients with now or limited health insurance. Free or low cost medical or dental care for military veterans and their immediate families, such as spouses, children, and other members who are considered immediate. Case mangers and specialists from this center also of course also work closely and can refer veterans to government health insurance and medical programs too.
