Cleveland, Pottawatomie, and Canadian County area clothing closets.

Families that need help acquiring clothing and other basic needs in Central Oklahoma can turn to clothing closest and thrift stores. Many of the programs are administered by churches, charities, and non-profits in Pottawatomie, Cleveland, McClain, and Canadian County. Resources available and the centers hours are limited.

The types of clothing and services available are wide ranging. They can include work and school uniforms, winter coats, boots, jackets, and more. Some of the distribution sites, including thrift stores, will have more wide ranging items such as furniture or household appliances. Seasonal goods can include Christmas toys or clothing or school supplies.

The clothing banks in Cleveland and Canadian County may provide vouchers to the low income for free goods. Others may have minimal fees to pay. Get more information below.

It addition to offering a thrift store, clothing, Christmas and school supplies, the non-profit runs other programs. Among them includes it provides job skill training, advice on how to go on job interview, provides transportation, and more. The organization may also pass out free work clothing to dress for interviews, including suits, slacks, and shoes.

Other household items such as bedding, linens, blankets, dishes, cups, household goods, decor items, and sometimes furniture to struggling families.
