Clark County Indiana free, emergency food pantries.

Clark County Indiana has several food pantries as well as soup kitchens in the area. They operate assistance programs for the hungry, low income, and people facing an emergency. The primary resources involve passing out free groceries, cleaning and hygiene supplies, Christmas meals or gifts, and much more. Details on the assistance programs that may be available from a food pantry are below.

Most of the locations are client choice pantries. This means that income qualified clients can select the food they need, that is best for their family. So there may be free groceries for a home, baby formula for an infant, Ensure for senior citizens, fruits, vegetables, and more. Some of the charities in Clark County Indiana may also deliver meals to the elderly and/or disabled that lack transportation to a store or pantry.

Also, try a food bank for other supplies. This may be clothes, school items, soap, detergent, household cleaners, and much more. Many also feed the needy at Thanksgiving as well as Christmas.
