Here are some energy assistance programs in Virginia. Virginia Natural Gas has the EnergyShare. This will help with energy bill and utility bill payments if all alternatives available through social services and government aid have been exhausted. Call the Salvation Army. Or try the City of Charlottesville and the Gas Assistance Program. This assistance program provides emergency energy bill payments for lower and mid income households that are not able to pay their their gas bills and have exhausted all other state and federal government assistance.
