Free school supply events are held annually by the foundation. Get crayons, highlighters, calculators, writing material, and clothes too for students of all grades in the Kansas City public school. The non-profit also partners with corporations such as Walmart on free school supply shopping sprees.

Community Services League

This is the Kansas City community action agency. They also give out free, age appropriate school supplies for students in Kindergarten up to high school. There are also tablets, laptops, vouchers, desktop computers and adult education programs too for parents. A wide range of assistance programs are provided by the non-profit for low-income families. Salvation Army of KCMO
There are multiple sites in the region, as noted below. They offer everything from financial help to free gift cards for school supplies, food, clothes and more.  A major focus is on helping kids from families living in poverty to get what they need for school and the charity will give out free uniforms, backpacks full of supplies and more.

Assistance League and Operation School Bell

Operation School Bell helps students of all grades, whether they are in Public Schools in Kansas City or a private school. Based on availability, there are free school uniforms for male and female students. Or get a backpack full of school supplies, based on grade.

 

 

 

 

Operation Backpack
This is provided for students in KCMO public schools only. It is generally a program that holds a giveaway in the community with students getting haircuts, free supplies, health checkups, books and more to prepare for the year.
