Warren County Community Action - Many services and assistance programs are offered. The non-profit organization provides emergency rental, security, heating and utility bill assistance and case management. Other programs and resources that may be available include school supplies, weatherization, and furnace repairs and/or replacement. Food and other general aid is also provided, including clothing, free food, school supplies, and more.

North Country Ministry, which is located in Warrensburg and can be reached at (518) 251-4460 is one of the agencies that administers the federal government funded Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-housing Program in northern Warren County. Housing and financial assistance may be provided with paying for rental security deposits, utility and heating bill payments/arrears, rent payment, rental arrears, utility deposits, moving/storage expenses and funds and programs provide hotel/motel vouchers. In addition the agency provides short term help with basic life needs such as gasoline, food, clothing, and home heating fuels. Baby clothing and a soup kitchen are also available.
Warren County Department of Social Services ((518) 761-6300) offers energy bill help from Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP). They also provide free fans, TANF, child care programs, and other government assistance and funds.

Food assistance programs
United Methodist Church of Queensbury ((518) 793-9728) provides the low income and working poor with a food box containing about 3 days worth of food ( perishables: Non-perishables, milk, eggs, cheese, bread. soup, vegetables, fruit, beans, rice, pasta, etc.) and other aid.
