Almost 15 food pantries are located across the area and serve struggling Hendricks County families. Most of the centers will pass out a free bag of groceries that may feed a family for a few days. Others will only sell food at a lower cost. The hours are limited, but some of the primary centers are below.
Some organizations have a waiting list and income conditions in place. This will be particularity true when seeking help from a USDA or federal government programs, such as SNAP food stamps. Centers in Hendricks County also generally have other items available too, based on donations. Clients can get everything from clothing to cleaning supplies or personal hygiene goods. So a wide variety of programs are available in the county, even including volunteers delivering meals.

The church volunteers only serve people in the immediate area. The homebound may have a meal delivered to them, or participate in other workshops.

There are toiletries, clothes for work or school and personal hygiene items. That and of course food is typically available. During some months the charity may have baby formula or diapers, including for single moms.

The non-profit can only be turned to once per month.

The homeless and others facing a crisis can also get a meal from the soup kitchen, including free Thanksgiving and Christmas meals.
