Fulton Community Action Agency, Inc. - Programs run include HEAP energy services which will help pay utility, heating and electric bills. Emergency services are also provided which include clothing, a free Food pantry, baked goods, information and referrals to Fulmont assistance programs, charities and other services in the community.
Other resources include W.I.C., free income tax preparation, Head Start, FEMA, Family Development Counseling and Weatherization. Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA), and guidance on processing various government programs for income eligible families. An innovative program known as Wheels-For-Work provides cars and auto repairs for low income families if they need their car for work related reasons.

Catholic Charities of Fulton is a local non-profit that is currently administering the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-housing Program for Fulton County residents. This is a federal government funded program that will assist the low income and needy with rent payments, rental deposits, and utility bill arrearage. They also offer emergency financial assistance which provides funding to assist area families who are in danger of having their heating service or electricity shut off or who may need assistance to obtain heating oil, fuel, food, or prescription medicines.
